We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Review Analyst with a strong background in finance and accounting from manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will possess a CA Inter / ICWA inter and demonstrate expertise in business analysis, costing, budgetary reviews, financial statement analysis, and SOP review. This role is critical in supporting the company's financial health and operational efficiency by providing insightful analysis and ensuring adherence to financial best practices across various business entities. To conduct the operational reviews, suggest improvements with MIS reporting to the management. Key Responsibilities: 1. Business Analysis and Reporting: Conduct comprehensive business analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities across various business entities. Prepare detailed reports and presentations on financial performance, business insights, and recommendations for senior management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data, providing insights to support business decisions. 2. Costing and Budgetary Review: Perform detailed costing analysis to assess the profitability of different business units, products, or services. Review and monitor budgets to ensure alignment with organizational goals, identifying variances and providing corrective action recommendations. Review and analyse annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans prepared by various units. 3. Financial Statement Analysis: Analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to assess the financial health of the organization. Identify key financial metrics, trends, and potential risks, providing actionable insights to management. Conduct variance analysis to compare actual financial performance against budgeted figures, explaining the reasons for any discrepancies. 4. SOP Review and Compliance: Review and evaluate the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) of various business entities to ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Recommend improvements to existing SOPs to enhance operational efficiency and mitigate financial risks. Work closely with internal audit teams to ensure that all business processes adhere to established standards and controls. Qualifications: Education: CA Inter qualification is required; additional certifications such as CMA or CFA are a plus. Experience: Should have experience in financial analysis, costing, budgeting, or related fields. Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial analysis tools, advanced Excel skills, and familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle). Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights. Experience in reviewing and developing SOPs. Knowledge of industry-specific financial regulations and standards. Prior experience in a similar role within a large or mid-sized organization.
