Job Title: CAD Designer / BIM Modeller Location: Bengaluru Department: Khatib & Alami Power & Renewable - Distribution (Dry Utilities) Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled CAD Designer / BIM Modeller to join our Power & Renewable Distribution team specializing in Dry Utilities. The role involves the preparation and delivery of high-quality power distribution infrastructure designs, ensuring timely and accurate project execution. This is an exciting opportunity to work on critical infrastructure projects with potential short-term assignments in the Middle East and Africa. Key Responsibilities: Participate in the delivery of power distribution infrastructure projects as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team. Prepare CAD and BIM models and ensure the accuracy and quality of design deliverables. Coordinate with engineers and project teams to meet project schedules and technical standards . Review and check design documents to ensure compliance with project requirements and best practices . Assist in the implementation and optimization of BIM workflows and design tools. Essential Qualifications and Experience: Diploma in Electrical & Electronics or Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution. 4-12 years of experience in infrastructure design (Dry Utilities and substations) with engineering consultancies. Proven proficiency in AutoCAD ; working knowledge of Civil 3D and Revit is a plus. Strong command of English communication skills, both written and verbal, in a technical environment. Prior experience with Middle East projects is highly desirable. Desired Skills and Competencies: Ability to apply CAD/BIM tools effectively within infrastructure projects. Willingness to travel for short-term assignments in the Middle East and Africa. Cultural adaptability and the ability to work in diverse, cross-functional teams. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues. Highly motivated and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
