Job Title: CAM Programmer Location: Kesnand, Wagholi, Pune Industry: Aerospace / Manufacturing Experience: 2 to 4 years Job Type: Full-time Salary: As per industry standards Joining: Immediate joiners preferred Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled CAM Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in PowerMill CAM and MasterCAM programming, along with expertise in machine prove-out and resolving machining-related issues during production. Key Responsibilities : Develop CAM programs using PowerMill CAM & MasterCAM for CNC/VMC machines. Perform machine prove-outs to validate and optimize machining processes. Troubleshoot and resolve machining-related issues during production to ensure smooth operations. Optimize tool paths, feed rates, and machining strategies to improve efficiency and reduce cycle time. Work closely with production and quality teams to ensure components meet specifications. Maintain CAM software libraries and update programs as per production requirements. Ensure adherence to aerospace and manufacturing industry standards. Provide support for tooling selection and fixture design for machining processes. Required Skills & Qualifications: Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field. 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in CAM programming for CNC/VMC machines. Proficiency in PowerMill CAM & MasterCAM software. Strong understanding of machining processes, cutting tools, and materials. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing and machining issues. Knowledge of GD&T, engineering drawings, and CAD models. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Aerospace or Precision Manufacturing. Knowledge of 5-axis machining. Understanding of ISO 9001 / AS9100 standards. Familiarity with CNC/VMC programming and setup.
