Cardiothoracic Surgeon (CTVS)

Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Perform complex surgeries involving the heart, thoracic cavity, lungs, and major blood vessels Conduct CABG (Coronary Artery Bypass Graft), valve replacements, aortic aneurysm repairs, vascular bypasses, and other advanced procedures Collaborate with cardiologists, anesthetists, intensivists, and other specialists for pre- and post-operative care Evaluate patients, interpret diagnostic tests (echocardiograms, CT scans, angiograms), and recommend treatment plans Ensure strict compliance with hospital protocols, sterilization standards, and surgical best practices Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, surgical reports, and documentation Participate in ICU rounds, surgical planning, and patient follow-ups Provide emergency surgical intervention as required Mentor junior doctors, surgical residents, and participate in medical education initiatives Keep updated with latest techniques, innovations, and continuing education in CTVS
