At kanthari, we are looking for a Media Catalyst to inspire and guide change-makers from around the world. In this dynamic role, you will facilitate learning about content creation, help participants bring their social initiatives to life, and foster impactful storytelling in a unique, collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities Facilitate Learning : Guide participants in developing their storytelling and media skills, fostering creativity and confidence. Content Creation : Support kanthari and participants in producing high-quality video, audio, and graphic content Media Center Development : Establish and maintain a media center, including a sound studio. Social Media Engagement : Mentor participants in creating impactful social media strategies and content to amplify their projects. Workshops and Facilitation : Design and lead interactive workshops, leveraging artistic mediums like theatre, film, and music to inspire innovation. Collaboration : Engage with participants, staff, and external stakeholders to build a supportive and diverse learning community. Intake/outreach being actively involved of the selection process of new participants Required Experience At least 5 years of practical experience in media, arts, or a related field. Proven expertise in content creation, video/audio/graphics editing, and storytelling. Experience in facilitating learning or conducting workshops. Familiarity with website development is an advantage. Expected Traits Passionate about media and the arts, with a love for storytelling. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively in a diverse, international setting. A creative mindset with a keen interest in exploring new ideas and artistic expressions. Open to outdoor and nature-inspired activities that enhance creativity.
