Role & responsibilities This role will own the P&L of the category, and lead strong cross-functional stakeholder management to translate customer insights into marketing efforts and enhance customer value. Drive initiatives and improvements to onboard new customers, execute the category activation calendar, and conceptualize innovations in customer experience, and basic consumer needs and convert them into business goals. Drive business growth, and market share of the specific category with strong product, competition, and consumer analytics. To achieve the given revenue and sales targets of the allocated category of exams Set strategic category direction based on customer and business needs & develop the core positioning and messaging for the category. Manage owned-media content and drive banner revenue through list growth, segmentation, and increased efficiency. Implementation of plans for the category in areas of price, promotion & product mix. Complete ownership of Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Customer/Student Experience for the given territory Conduct comprehensive industry trend analysis, including market, competitive, and pricing trends. Plan and execute marketing calendar & program across various platforms and take corrective actions to stay on course with the plan To ensure recruitment, training, set action, and targets, appraise and manage performance, development, coaching, and general support of all team members to ensure targets are met Requirements 3-7 years of Category management or similar experience with E-commerce/Edtech organizations. Very deep business acumen and a strong problem solver. Highly driven and resourceful candidate (fast-paced start-up experience preferred) Excellent data analysis, data interpretation, and first principle problem-solving approach Creative bend to conceptualize engaging YouTube videos, messaging for Social Media/SMS/ WhatsApp/Mobile App, and Sales Pitch Ability to take initiative in a constantly changing work environment and a generalist do-what-it-takes mindset
