CCTV Technician

Job Description

Role & responsibilities: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CCTV Technician to install, maintain, and repair surveillance systems for commercial, and industrial clients. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with CCTV equipment DVR/NVR systems, and security infrastructure. Strong troubleshooting abilities and a commitment to safety and customer service are essential. Install, configure, and maintain CCTV systems (IP and analog) Set up DVR/NVRs and connect cameras for live and remote monitorin Conduct site surveys and determine optimal camera placement Perform system diagnostics and troubleshoot camera/network issues Upgrade and service existing surveillance systems as needed Work closely with clients to understand and fulfill security requirements Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance, and repairs Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety standards and local regulations Provide technical support and training to end-users if necessary Strong knowledge of DVRs, NVRs, IP cameras, and access control system Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to client sites Familiarity with tools such as cable testers, CCTV monitors, power drills, etc Preferred candidate profile Excellent problem-solving skills Strong communication and customer service skills Attention to detail and a proactive approach Ability to work independently or in a team environment
