Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Operating the CCV Line: Set up, monitor, and operate the CCV line for cable manufacturing. Ensure that cables are correctly passed through the cross-linking process. Adjust machine settings for temperature, pressure, and other parameters to meet the required specifications. Quality Control: Monitor and inspect the cable quality throughout the process to ensure that it meets industry standards. Conduct tests on finished products to check for defects or inconsistencies. Adjust the process as needed based on test results to maintain consistent product quality. Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the CCV equipment to ensure optimal operation. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise with the equipment, such as temperature fluctuations, pressure problems, or operational errors. Safety and Compliance: Follow safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Ensure that the cross-linking process complies with company and industry standards, as well as environmental regulations. Record Keeping: Maintain logs of production data, including temperature, pressure, and time settings. Document any equipment malfunctions or maintenance activities. Collaboration: Work with other operators and team members to ensure the production schedule is met. Communicate with supervisors and quality control teams regarding production progress, product quality, and any issues encountered during the process. Required Skills: Technical Skills: Knowledge of the cross-linking process and how temperature, pressure, and time affect cable properties. Familiarity with CCV equipment, including its setup, operation, and maintenance. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics for the equipment. Problem-Solving: Ability to quickly identify and resolve issues that may arise during the cable manufacturing process. Attention to detail to ensure quality standards are met. Safety Awareness: Awareness of safety protocols and the ability to work in a safe manner, especially when working with high temperatures and potentially hazardous materials. Physical Stamina: The role may involve standing for long periods and performing tasks that require physical effort, such as loading and unloading cables or operating heavy machinery. Communication: Strong communication skills to work effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and quality control teams. This role is typically suited for someone with experience in manufacturing or industrial settings, preferably in the cable or wire industry. Technical certifications or specialized training in CCV or related machinery may be required or beneficial. Role & responsibilities Power cable experience mandatory.
