Role Purpose The role is to support value engineering in evaluating the cost reduction ideas. This role calls for performing CFD analysis to improve the productivity/performance/pressure drop reduction Support the designs with optimized solutions through CFD. Role Responsibilities Perform 2D and 3D CFD analysis of all HVAC, heat exchanger components. Knowledge of HVAC products both at system and sub-system levels Knowledge in HVAC design & Heat exchanger design is a plus Strong fundamental knowledge in Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer and Multi-phase flows. Experience in Fluid, thermal, Conjugate Heat Transfer and FSI analysis of complex structures Initiating and running as simulation project lead and co-Investigator of one or more major projects (or a number of minor projects) to meet internal and external customer’s timescales and to complete the work within the budgeted allowance. Perform CFD analysis using ANSYS where the entire process must be covered, i.e. from data/information acquisition, CAD data pre-processing, model build, to the analysis and final presentation. Provide design suggestions based on analysis results and engineering judgment to improve product design. Validate the designs using CFD and optimize for cost reduction Able to handle multiple projects Skills Required MS or M Tech degree in Engineering (Thermal / Aerospace / Engineering Science) from a recognized university with 6-10 years of experience. Passion for HVAC Residential and Commercial Technology and simulation Strong fundamental knowledge in Fluid Flow & Heat Transfer Experience with 2D/3D CFD simulations. understanding of HVAC, heat-exchanger and climate control systems high communication and interpersonal skills highly driven, self-motivated and able to deliver with minimum supervision.
