About the Role The primary responsibility of this role is to build high performing team with world-class electromechanical competency required to design and development of LV molded case Circuit Breakers to meet customer specific technical, cost and market related technology requirement in accordance with standards (IEC, UL). Responsibilities Lead and manage the R&D team to drive the development of LV molded case circuit breaker products, ensuring adherence to quality, cost and schedule targets. Drive innovation and continuous improvement in product design, testing, and validation processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new technologies and features into the LV molded case circuit breaker product portfolio. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the R&D team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability. Competency development (Technical, leadership & Functional) of team. Career Planning and development. Build strong technical/RCA review and governance with stakeholders and Customer FIRST mindset. Stay abreast of industry trends, standards, and best practices to drive product innovation and competitiveness. Preferred candidate profile Bachelors or master’s degree in electrical/mechanical Engineering or related field. Proven experience in R&D and product development within the low Voltage Switchgear industry. At least 5 years of People Management Experience. Strong technical acumen and understanding of low Voltage Switchgear technologies, standards, and market trends. Leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to lead and motivate technical teams.
