Job Summary : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager Chartered Accountant to lead our Accounting, Audit, and Taxation services. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing complex accounting, auditing, and tax matters for a diverse portfolio of clients. As a Senior Manager, you will play a key role in managing client relationships, overseeing the execution of engagements, and leading a team of professionals to deliver high-quality services in accordance with industry regulations and best practices. Key Responsibilities : 1. Accounting Services : Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards such as IFRS and GAAP. Provide guidance on complex accounting issues and assist clients with financial reporting and budgeting. Review and ensure the accuracy of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Advise clients on the application of accounting principles and the impacts of new accounting standards. 2. Audit Services : Lead audit engagements for clients in various industries, ensuring audits are conducted in line with regulatory and professional standards. Supervise and review the work of audit teams, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results. Manage client relationships during the audit process, discussing key findings, and providing recommendations. Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory authorities as required. 3. Taxation Services : Advise clients on corporate, personal, and indirect taxes, ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws. Review and file tax returns for individuals and businesses, including VAT, corporate income tax, and other direct/indirect taxes. Develop tax strategies to minimize liabilities and optimize tax positions for clients. Keep clients updated on changes in tax laws and help them implement tax-efficient strategies. 4. Client Relationship Management : Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, managing expectations and maintaining strong professional relationships. Understand clients' business needs and provide tailored financial advice, including strategic planning and risk management solutions. Participate in business development activities to expand the firm's client base. 5. Team Leadership & Development : Lead, mentor, and manage a team of accountants, auditors, and tax professionals. Provide technical guidance and training to staff, ensuring their continuous development and performance improvement. Review work prepared by junior team members and provide constructive feedback. 6. Compliance & Risk Management : Ensure compliance with local and international accounting, auditing, and tax regulations. Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring that proper internal controls are in place. Review and implement best practices for managing client data and maintaining confidentiality. 7. Internal Projects and Process Improvement : Lead internal projects to enhance operational efficiencies, streamline workflows, and introduce automation where applicable. Contribute to the development of internal processes and policies to improve the firms overall service delivery. Qualifications & Skills : Professional Qualification : Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent (CPA, ACA, etc.). Experience : Minimum of 4 years of Post Qualification experience in accounting, auditing, and taxation, with at least 1+ years in a managerial or leadership role. Technical Expertise : In-depth knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP), auditing practices, and tax laws. Leadership & Team Management : Proven ability to manage teams effectively, with strong interpersonal and mentoring skills. Client Management : Demonstrated experience managing and building client relationships in a professional services environment. Analytical Skills : Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Software Proficiency : Advanced knowledge of accounting and audit software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel. Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly to clients and stakeholders. Time Management : Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills : Experience in managing multinational or cross-border clients. Knowledge of industry-specific accounting, auditing, or tax requirements (e.g., financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, etc.).
