Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Lead and coordinate day-to-day Finance and Accounting operations by providing strategic direction and operational support to the team. Review and align work activities within team members to ensure effective delegation, multiskilling, and continuity planning (backup support). In-depth understanding and practical application of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS), IFRS, US GAAP , and IGAAP in business transactions. Ensure accurate and timely finalization of financial statements , including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow. Strong focus on balance sheet hygiene , including identification of risks and proactive mitigation to avoid financial exposure. Effectively manage working capital components – stock, debtors, and cash – to support operational efficiency. Conduct monthly reconciliations of inventory, receivables, and cash positions; ensure variances are analyzed and resolved. Collaborate closely with internal teams and HQ Finance team to ensure timely and accurate reporting, including handling of ad-hoc requests. Ensure robust internal control systems , periodic testing, and implementation of corrective actions as per audit recommendations. Oversee month-end closing activities , including posting of accruals, provisions, and ensuring timely reporting aligned with HQ timelines. Manage compliance and accurate reporting under US GAAP, IGAAP, and Ind AS as applicable. Strong hands-on experience in SAP (FI/CO Module) , including journal entries, GL, AP/AR, fixed assets, and account finalization. Liaison with ERP team to identify reporting and system enhancement needs; support digital transformation initiatives. Drive process automation, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce manual intervention. Coordinate with auditors (statutory, internal, tax) and ensure timely closure of audits and resolution of open points. Ensure all statutory filings (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.) are done timely and accurately, in compliance with regulatory requirements. Qualifications & Experience: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 6–10 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial set-up. Exposure to multi-national reporting structures and working with global HQ will be an added advantage. Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in SAP and MS Excel .
