We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef for our Oriental Cuisine department. This role demands deep knowledge and hands-on expertise in Asian cooking styles such as Chinese, Thai, Japanese, and Pan-Asian fusion. The Head of Oriental Cuisine will be responsible for menu development, team leadership, kitchen operations, and delivering consistently high-quality dishes that reflect the flavors and presentation of authentic Oriental food. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the Oriental kitchen team, ensuring coordination, efficiency, and morale. Develop and curate menus across Chinese, Thai, Japanese, and other Asian cuisines in line with current food trends and customer preferences. Standardize recipes and ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes. Maintain kitchen hygiene and safety in compliance with FSSAI standards and internal policies. Train and mentor junior chefs and kitchen staff in techniques and best practices specific to Oriental cooking. Work with procurement to source quality ingredients and maintain stock levels, with emphasis on authentic Asian spices, sauces, and fresh produce. Control food costs , reduce wastage, and monitor kitchen expenses to meet financial targets. Collaborate with service teams to handle guest feedback, special orders, and event catering.
