Chemical Engineer Intern

Job Description

Role & responsibilities Assist in process development, optimization, and troubleshooting in the plant or lab. Conduct experiments, record observations, and analyze data under supervision. Support day-to-day production activities and ensure adherence to safety protocols. Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams on ongoing projects. Prepare technical documentation, reports, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Monitor equipment performance and report any abnormalities or improvement suggestions. Help ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations. Participate in continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives. Preferred candidate profile Pursuing or recently completed B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering Strong understanding of core chemical engineering concepts (unit operations, mass/heat transfer, etc.) Interest in working in a manufacturing or process plant environment Basic knowledge of safety practices and industrial standards Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Familiarity with MS Office; knowledge of simulation tools (like Aspen/HYSYS) is a plus Eagerness to learn, adaptable, and a good team player Available for full-time internship/work during the specified period
