Chief Executive Officer (CEO) – Potafo Food Delivery Location: Calicut, Kerala (Preferred) | Full-time | Equity + Competitive Salary About Potafo: Potafo is a fast-growing food and grocery delivery app based in Calicut, Kerala. We’re building Kerala’s own hyperlocal delivery platform, trusted by local restaurants and users alike. Backed by a strong ecosystem and strategic support, we are now preparing to scale operations across Kerala. What We’re Looking For: We are seeking a visionary and execution-focused Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead Potafo’s next phase of growth. You will be responsible for overall strategy, scaling operations, forming key partnerships, and building a winning team culture. This is a rare opportunity to lead a growing local startup with a mission to take on national players by staying deeply rooted in Kerala’s business ethos. Key Responsibilities: Lead the strategic expansion of Potafo to 10+ cities across Kerala within 12 months. Build and manage high-performing cross-functional teams including operations, tech, sales, and customer support. Drive user acquisition, vendor onboarding, and customer retention in new and existing markets. Create partnerships with KHRA and local businesses to position Potafo as Kerala’s most trusted delivery platform. Manage investor relations and funding strategy. Oversee financial performance, unit economics, and profitability goals. Ideal Candidate: 8+ years of experience in leadership roles, preferably in foodtech, quick commerce, logistics, or hyperlocal delivery domains. Proven track record in scaling digital platforms, managing operations across multiple geographies, and delivering strong business outcomes. Strong understanding of Kerala’s consumer behavior and F&B ecosystem. Hands-on leadership style with strategic vision and execution excellence.
