Job Description

Key Responsibilities 1. Strategic Financial Leadership Develop and execute the companys financial strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. Provide strategic financial insights to the leadership team to drive sustainable growth and profitability. Assess new business opportunities, investments, and expansion strategies from a financial perspective. 2. Banking and Fundraising Forge strong partnerships with banks, NBFCs, and financial institutions for raising project financing, working capital, and debt. Drive capital-raising initiatives, including private equity, bond issuance, structured finance, and foreign direct investment. Lead negotiations for favourable terms for project loans, refinancing, and credit facilities. Manage investor relations and ensure compliance with funding covenants. 3. Accounting & Financial Reporting Manage the preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow reports. Oversee internal controls and financial audits, ensuring adherence to corporate governance norms. 4. Treasury and Cash Flow Management Design and manage cash flow strategies to ensure liquidity and financial stability across projects. Optimize treasury operations, ensuring effective utilization of surplus funds, hedging mechanisms, and forex management. Ensure financial stability, optimize resource allocation, and drive profitability while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Monitor and mitigate risks associated with funding delays, currency fluctuations, and interest rates. 5. Governance, Compliance, and Reporting Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, tax laws, and financial standards. Strong knowledge of overseas transactions, ensuring compliance with FEMA, RBI guidelines, and other applicable regulatory frameworks. Lead statutory audits, internal audits, and ensure accurate financial reporting to stakeholders. Liaise with regulatory authorities such as RBI, SEBI, and tax authorities to ensure compliance with evolving financial policies. Develop frameworks for risk management and corporate governance.
