A boutique, technology driven Institutional Equity Brokerage offering financial advisory to FPIs and Domestic Institutional investors is hiring for COO/ Head Operations Mandatory Work Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience with a leading institutional brokerage house in a similar role In-depth understanding of institutional stock broking business and its facets like IT/infrastructure, risk management, operations and compliance. Experience in managing and working with multiple teams. Leadership and diligence. Comfortable working in a setup of a small, dynamic, growing organization that is continuously evolving. Key Responsibilities: Operational efficiency: Streamlining trading operations, settlement processes, and back-office functions to ensure seamless execution of trades. Overseeing day to day operations of the company Risk Management: Oversee risk management to mitigate all kinds of risks involved in broking operations. Implementing risk assessment frameworks. Monitor client trading related risks. Technology and Infrastructure: Responsible for overseeing the development and maintenance of trading platforms, order management systems, and other technological infrastructure to support trading activities efficiently. Compliance and Regulatory Oversight: Work closely with compliance team to ensure adherence to relevant regulations, such as those set forth by regulatory authorities. Financial Management: Playing a role in financial management, including budgeting, cost control, and financial planning. Strategic Planning: Collaborating with the executive committee for strategic planning initiatives aimed at driving business growth and expansion. Show more Show less
