Job Description

1. Support the operations of the Mainframe CICS infrastructure. 2. Responsible for carrying out BAU tasks for application owners. These include CICS resource definitions online(terminals, programs, bundles etc.), defining new CICS regions etc. 3. Good knowledge on monitoring and administrative tools like Sysview or any other equivalent for support. 4. Experience in upgrade of CICS TS from lower version to higher version. 5. Knowledge on CICS Transaction Gateway and CICS webservices and CICSplex Operations 6. Experience in vendor product install / upgrade and applying PTF for maintenance 7. Support and document DR processes 8. Monitor ticketing tool to resolve incidents and requests within agreed SLAs . 9. Problem determination skills demonstrating independence and experience in troubleshooting, researching, and resolving complex issues, showing strong ability to utilize system diagnostics to arrive at problem solutions. 10. Ability to work off hours and weekends to support change implementation. Ability to support client systems in a 24/7 on- call rotation. 11. CICS SSL Setup Troubleshooting 12. Should be able to understand the CICS Application Architecture and troubleshoot issues arising due to incoming CICS connections from Offhost DataPower , WAS etc. 13. Experience in CICS Monitoring Tools - CA SYSVIEW / Omegamon / Mainview etc. 14. Well versed with CICSPLEX Setup (CMAS), MRO region Setup and troubleshoot related issues. 15. Incident Management , Change Management on Service Now , BMC Remedy On Demand Tool. 16. Should be able to coordinate with various application support teams , business stakeholders for complex change implementations
