Civil Engineer - Bangalore

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Civil Engineer to plan, design, and oversee construction and maintenance of building structures and infrastructure, such as roads, bridges, dams, and water supply systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of civil engineering principles, project management skills, and a commitment to safety and quality. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop construction projects based on technical specifications and regulatory requirements. Prepare site layout plans, detailed drawings, and blueprints using CAD or similar software. Conduct feasibility studies, cost estimates, and risk analysis for construction projects. Oversee construction and maintenance activities at project sites to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards. Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure timely and accurate project completion. Perform site inspections and supervise field testing of materials and construction techniques. Prepare reports, environmental impact assessments, and permit applications. Ensure adherence to applicable codes, regulations, and best practices. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Masters preferred). Professional Engineering (PE) license or working toward licensure (as applicable by region). Proven experience in civil engineering or related construction projects. Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D.. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills. Preferred Skills: Experience in sustainable and green building design. Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) tools. Working Conditions: Combination of office and fieldwork. Exposure to outdoor conditions and construction sites. Requires travel to project sites as needed. Note: Prospective candidate should be open for travelling to all the Units as part of the job as and when it is necessary.
