Job Description

To attend the patients on admission & inform the senior resident/ consultant immediately. To note the detailed history of the patient. To take rounds and inform seniors and consultants regarding patients condition as per defined frequency To confirm OT bookings. To receive the patient after surgery. To coordinate with blood bank and arrange for Blood Transfusion as and when necessary. To inform Nursing team about new admissions and coordinate with consultants about immediate care plan. To arrange for lab tests for the patient. To contact external doctor if needed after receiving necessary approvals from MCO/CMS. To accompany patient for investigations like imaging, procedures, etc. To visit patients as per defined frequency and record vitals. To inform patient about various diagnostics planned & preparation required for the same To help in shifting and positioning of the patient in some specific surgeries. To assist in preparing discharge summaries and complete all other discharge formalities To give necessary instructions about home care at the time of discharge To transcribe medication orders from progress notes to drug administrator chart and ensure that it is signed by Consultant. To inform about any deviation / delay / lapse in clinical care to MCO / CMS To ensure all relevant consents are competed before procedure. To arrange for ambulance service at the time of discharge. To be responsible to carry out allocated work depending upon your area of deployment. To coordinate with consultants regarding signing of daily notes, drug sheets and care plans.
