Role & responsibilities Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Cloud Container Security Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on managing and enhancing our container security platform, specifically leveraging Palo Altos Prisma Cloud for container security. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with container security tools, AWS, and incident response, with a deep understanding of security best practices for containerized workloads. Responsibilities: Cloud Container Security: Analyze, enhance, and support container security tools and platforms, ensuring robust protection of containerized environments. Collaborate with stakeholders across Engineering and Operations teams, working in sync with global partners from different time zones. Design security concepts for container platforms, automating and provisioning secure container solutions. Support incident response (IR) processes for container workloads, ensuring rapid response to security events. Respond to security alerts generated by the container security platform and mitigate risks effectively. Provide expertise on AWS, with particular experience in Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) security. Incident Response: Analyze security events and alerts, investigating incidents such as phishing attacks and other security threats. Respond promptly to security alerts raised within SIEM platforms. Document and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), runbooks, and processes for responding to security alerts. Collaborate with the team to refine and implement incident response strategies for container workloads. Skills and Qualifications: Container Security Expertise : Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Palo Altos Prisma Cloud for container security or similar platforms like CrowdStrike. AWS Knowledge : Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), especially with Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) and securing containerized applications. Security Incident Response : Proven experience in handling security events, alerts, and investigations with a focus on containerized workloads. Tools Knowledge : Familiarity with container security tools (e.g., Prisma Cloud, Aqua Security, Twistlock, Docker security) and security monitoring platforms. Automation & Provisioning : Ability to automate and provision secure container solutions, focusing on scalability and efficiency. Documentation : Ability to create and maintain documentation and runbooks for container security processes and incident response. Preferred candidate profile Experience with Palo Alto Prisma Cloud or other similar container security tools. Familiarity with SIEM tools and their integration with containerized environments. Prior experience in the design and implementation of security solutions for cloud-native and containerized environments.
