Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Job Description

Role & responsibilities Manage the day-to-day operations of Cloud Infrastructure by monitoring system performance, configuration, maintenance and repair. Perform system maintenance, updates, and patch management. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and work with vendors as needed. Ensure high availability and acceptable levels of performance of mission critical host computer resources. Install, modify and maintain systems and utility software on host computer systems. Implement cloud security policies and best practices and monitor systems for vulnerabilities and threats. Work closely with mentors, CloudOps, and internal teams to automate infrastructure tasks and workflows. Stay current with technological developments in systems administration technology and recommend ways for eCW to take advantage of new technology. Join quarterly training sessions to gain knowledge and experience in working with the latest hardware and software tools. Preferred candidate profile Must be okay to work in rotational shift timings. Bachlors Degree required; Masters Degree preferred.
