Coal Yard Supervisor

Job Description

Supervise coal unloading from railway wagons/trucks and coordinate stacking in designated stockyards. Ensure smooth operation of coal handling systems like stackers, reclaimers, conveyors, and crushers. Allocate and monitor field operators and support staff for shift-wise operations. Inspect coal yard equipment regularly for proper functioning and cleanliness. Monitor coal quality, stock levels, and maintain records of daily receipts and consumption. Ensure timely reclamation and feeding of coal to the plant as per demand. Coordinate with control room, logistics, and maintenance departments. Enforce safety protocols and ensure all personnel wear PPE and follow operational guidelines. Report equipment failures, unsafe conditions, or deviations to the relevant departments.
