Underwriter/Property- Fire Insurance website Link: www.dishainsurance.com Experience: 5 to 7years Job Description: As an Underwriting Commercial Lines , you will assess and evaluate risks related to property fire insurance, determining appropriate coverage, pricing, and terms in line with industry standards. Roles & Responsibilities: Review fire insurance policies and property details (e.g., structure, location). Assess risks like construction materials, fire protection, and historical loss data. Calculate premiums and propose coverage options. Collaborate with clients and insurers to clarify underwriting decisions. Monitor claims and adjust underwriting as needed. Prepare RFQs and QCRs, review policy terms, and propose adjustments. Fire Insurance Products: Sokshma : Risk assessment and fire protection recommendations. CAR : Coverage for property damage and third-party risks in construction. SFSP : Coverage for fire, explosion, theft, earthquake, and more. IAR : Comprehensive coverage for industrial properties, including business interruption. Mega IAR : Extensive coverage for large-scale projects with high-value assets. EAR : Erection All Risk Insurance Desired Profile: 5 to 7 years of experience in general insurance or related fields. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Office. Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or insurance. Knowledge of industry regulations and standards.
