Commissioning Manager- HVDC

Job Description

The candidate should have experience working above 400 KV level and handled multiple sites & tested all equipments in substation level. Should have experience in handling commissioning engineers, technical experience of HV/EHV substations The Commissioning Manager preferably participates in the test room tests including Factory System Test. He or she organizes and manages activities related to all "on site tests activities" and operation before handing over the project to customer. He/she is also involved in the planning and preparation of the commissioning program for the project. Furthermore he/she is responsible for the writing of the detailed subsystem and system test instructions as applicable. Follow best practices to ensure high level of Health & Safety and Integrity standards. Commissioing Manager are responsible for the supervision, testing and commissioning of control, protection and SAS for substations and HVDC Systems. Create detail commissioning plan and mobilize resources required for commissioning of the HVDC station. Provides necessary technical expertise & supports the Site manager and Project manager in managing the resources and timelines. Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned customers to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction. Monitor the progress and take necessary actions to complete the commissioning activities as per the stipulated timelines. Prepare Inspection Test plan and Inspection Test reports and & Carry equipment test, Sub-system test and System test as per the plan. Maintain all documentation as per the latest ISO 9001 quality standards and document management system. Be flexible to work seamlessly to Collaborate with all required stakeholders (Installation, Construction, HSE Teams) at site. Provides solutions and technical support to the commissioning engineers at site. Work involves travel to different locations across India or any part of the world to commission the HVDC systems. Stakeholder Management through continuous interaction with employees and senior officials across the globe. The following knowledge and experience will be considered as advantages: Experience in commissioning of FACTS / HVDC stations. Experience in MACH control system. Experience in technical tender support or bidding. Experience in using special primary test kits. Good knowledge of Office tools
