General brief about the role: As a Dealer at Geojit Financial Services Ltd., the primary responsibility is to execute trades efficiently and accurately on behalf of clients while adhering to regulatory guidelines and company policies. Dealers play a crucial role in facilitating transactions in various financial instruments such as equities, derivatives, commodities, and currencies. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, market knowledge, and interpersonal skills to effectively execute trades and provide value-added services to clients. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Communicate with clients to understand their investment objectives, provide market insights, and execute trades according to clients sole preferences and confirmation. Suggest trade & investment recommendations as given by fundamental and technical research team (only). Execute buy and sell orders for clients in a timely and accurate manner across different financial markets and instruments while ensuring proper evidence of the order has been acquired (Confirm with client: TRAQS- TRADE CODE, RATE, ACTIVITY, QUANTITY and SCRIP). • Expand the customer base by actively prospecting for new clients through diverse methods including cold-calling, appointment scheduling, and harnessing references/leads. • Ensure clients receive precise trade confirmations on a daily basis. Report customers grievance related to trade disputes directly to Compliance Department, Head Office at the earliest. Activation of clients who are dormant or inactive by advocating them to start trading again. • Execute cross-selling based on customer need, aimed at third-party products to optimize engagement with current clientele, thereby maximize revenue generation for the company. • Maintain consistent communication with clients who are mapped to him/her via telephone calls and in-person meetings. Monitor market conditions, trends, and news that may impact the prices of securities or other financial products Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry best practices related to trade execution and client interactions. • Stay updated on the features, risks, and potential returns of various financial products offered by the company. • Collaborate with colleagues in other departments such as research, sales, and risk management to provide holistic solutions to clients and contribute to the overall success of the organization. • Stay updated on the developments in financial markets, regulatory changes, and technological advancements that may impact the role of a dealer Desired Candidate Profile : Education Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university. Experience Freshers/candidates up to two years experience in financial services.
