Job Description: The Community Manager will play a pivotal role in expanding and nurturing IAQN's community engagement efforts. This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing outreach strategies to grow IAQN's network, fostering relationships with stakeholders, and enhancing public awareness about air quality issues. The role requires a dynamic individual with a passion for environmental advocacy and the ability to mobilize communities toward positive change. Key Responsibilities: Community Engagement: Develop and execute strategies to engage with local communities, educational institutions, and other stakeholders to promote IAQN's mission. Event Coordination: Organize workshops, seminars, and community events to educate the public about air quality issues and IAQN's initiatives. Digital Outreach: Manage IAQN's social media platforms and website content to ensure consistent and effective communication. Partnership Development: Identify and establish partnerships with NGOs, government agencies, and private sector entities to further IAQN's objectives. Volunteer Management: Recruit, train, and oversee volunteers to support various IAQN projects and events. Feedback Collection: Gather insights from the community to inform IAQN's programs and policy recommendations. Required Qualifications: Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in community outreach, and public relations roles. Education/Experience Designation: Community Manager Experience: 1-3 Years 5 Days work 9:30AM-6:30PM Budget : up to 5 LPA Location: Ahmedabad, Work From Office Required Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities in English. Experience in managing social media platforms, content creation, and basic website management. Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse groups and individuals. Proven ability to plan and execute events, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines. A demonstrated commitment to environmental advocacy and understanding of air quality challenges in India. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required for community events.
