Computer Hardware Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Computer Hardware Engineer with expertise in printer repair, toner refilling, laptop and desktop maintenance, software installation, and troubleshooting Windows and Ubuntu operating systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing hardware and software issues, ensuring smooth operation of IT systems. Responsibilities: Printer Maintenance & Repair: Diagnose and repair printers (laser, inkjet, dot matrix, etc.), refill and replace toner cartridges, and resolve printing issues. Laptop & PC Repair: Troubleshoot and fix hardware issues, including motherboard, RAM, HDD/SSD, power supply, and other components. Software Installation & Troubleshooting: Install and configure software applications, drivers, and utilities on Windows and Ubuntu systems. OS Installation & Repair: Format, install, and troubleshoot Windows and Ubuntu operating systems, including resolving boot issues, driver conflicts, and system errors. Eligibility Criteria: Consistently strong academic performance with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks up to graduation and 65% in post-graduation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Diploma/Degree in Computer Hardware, IT, or related field. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Operating Systems and MS Office. Ability to manage client communication and scheduling effectively. Experience in customer support or IT service roles.
