Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Endodontist to provide specialized endodontic services at Bansal Dental Clinic in Peer Muchalla. The Consultant will be responsible for diagnosing and treating complex endodontic cases, ensuring the highest standards of care. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the growth of our specialty services and provide crucial treatments to our patient base. Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive endodontic care, including diagnosis and treatment of complex root canal cases, retreatments, and apical surgeries. Conduct thorough clinical examinations and utilize diagnostic aids such as radiographs (including digital radiography, if available) to assess endodontic conditions. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with complex endodontic needs. Perform non-surgical root canal treatments using modern techniques and materials. Manage and treat endodontic emergencies, including traumatic injuries. Perform root canal retreatments for previously treated cases. Conduct apical surgeries (apicoectomy) when indicated. Utilize rotary instrumentation, apex locators, and other advanced endodontic equipment. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment plans, radiographs, and progress notes. Ensure strict adherence to sterilization protocols and infection control measures. Communicate effectively with patients about their diagnosis, treatment options, and prognosis. Collaborate with general dentists and other specialists within the clinic as needed. Stay updated on the latest advancements in endodontics through continuing education and professional development. Maintain professional liability insurance. Required Skills and Qualifications: Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Endodontics from a recognized institution. Valid dental license to practice in India (and preferably in Punjab or with eligibility for registration). Proven clinical expertise and experience in managing a wide range of complex endodontic cases. Proficiency in using modern endodontic techniques and equipment (e.g., rotary systems, apex locators). Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities specific to endodontics. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex procedures to patients clearly. Empathy and a patient-centered approach to care. Meticulous attention to detail and precision in performing intricate procedures. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Basic computer literacy for record-keeping and digital imaging. Fluency in Punjabi and Hindi is highly preferred due to the local patient demographic. Preferred Skills (Optional): Experience with microscopic endodontics. Experience with warm gutta-percha obturation techniques. Experience with CBCT imaging for endodontic diagnosis and treatment planning. Participation in research or publications in the field of endodontics.
