Job Summary JOB DESCRIPTION We are seeking a skilled SAP ABAP Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of custom solutions within the SAP environment. You will work closely with functional consultants and other technical teams to ensure optimal performance and smooth integration of business processes. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain custom SAP ABAP reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms. Work with functional consultants to understand business requirements and provide technical solutions. Design, develop, and implement complex custom applications and workflows. Enhance existing SAP systems (like SAP ECC, S/4HANA, etc.) to meet business requirements. Create and modify custom reports, smart forms, and SAP scripts. Perform debugging and troubleshooting for SAP systems to identify issues and provide solutions. Design and implement BAPIs, RFCs, IDocs, and other SAP integration technologies. Assist in data migration activities, including data extraction and loading into SAP. Collaborate with other technical teams to ensure the seamless integration of various systems and modules. Conduct unit testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Provide ongoing support for SAP ABAP applications and troubleshoot production issues. Participate in code reviews and ensure best practices for ABAP development. Qualifications Required Skills: Strong proficiency in ABAP programming, including Object-Oriented ABAP (OO-ABAP). Experience in SAP modules such as SD, MM, FICO, HR, or others. Solid understanding of SAP NetWeaver, SAP HANA, and SAP S/4HANA (if applicable). Experience in developing custom reports, forms, and interfaces (Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, SAP Scripts). Knowledge of ABAP Workbench, ALV reports, IDocs, and BAPI development. Familiarity with SAP integration methods, including RFC, Web Services, and IDocs. Experience with Data Migration tools such as LSMW or BODS. Knowledge of Fiori/UI5 (a plus). Proficient in debugging, performance optimization, and troubleshooting in SAP. Strong understanding of SAP architecture and development standards. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields. Relevant SAP ABAP certifications are a plus. 3+ years of experience working with SAP ABAP. Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies is a plus. Preferred Skills: Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and cloud technologies. Familiarity with SAP Fiori/UI5 development. Experience in SAP workflow development. Strong understanding of data models and database design in SAP. Soft Skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills. Problem-solving and analytical thinking. Ability to work in a team and independently. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
