Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Continental Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in preparing a variety of Continental dishes with high-quality ingredients and a flair for presentation. You will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes from European and Western cuisines while maintaining high standards of hygiene and efficiency in the kitchen. Prepare and cook Continental dishes including Italian, French, Mediterranean, and other Western cuisines. Design and plan menus that reflect the theme and vision of the restaurant. Ensure all food is prepared to high culinary standards and is presented attractively. Monitor food stock and place orders when necessary. Maintain kitchen cleanliness and adhere to food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP). Train and supervise junior kitchen staff and ensure effective kitchen operations. Stay updated on modern cooking techniques and industry trends. Maintain cost control through efficient use of ingredients and kitchen resources. Collaborate with management for menu planning and pricing.
