Process Documentation of Paediatric TB Notification Project under USAID supported PAHAL Programme in Maharashtra and Rajasthan by Terms of Reference for Documentation Associate Background India Learning Hub supports the USAID India Health Office (HO) to synthesize knowledge and learning across the USAID Health Office programmes in India. The USAID-supported PAHAL programme by IPE Global has initiated a project in the four selected districts of Maharashtra (Jalgaon, and Thane) and Rajasthan (Kota and Karauli) to improve the Paediatric TB outcomes. USAID India HO has invited the India Learning Hub to undertake a concurrent process documentation exercise to document the inputs, processes, outputs, and contextual factors contributing to the Pediatric TB outcomes in the project areas. The Documentation Associates will document the implementation of project including screening, testing, treatment initiation, and TB preventive treatment, and community level activities for the delivery of Pediatric TB services. Overall function/responsibility Documentation of the inputs, processes, outputs and contextual information of the project; Extraction of the relevant secondary data from the different health facilities; Undertake qualitative activities including In-depth Interviews (IDI) and Key Informant Interviews (KII) with different stakeholders; Non-participant observation and documentation of the project implementation activities. Qualification and Experience required Post-graduation in social science/public health disciplines with 2-3 years of experience in similar area of work Exposure to the Tuberculosis programme in the country Good English writing skills Knowledge and understanding of the mixed methods approach of data collection.

The Associate Research Manager will be responsible for designing, planning and managing the full-scale research projects, monitoring project progress, supporting team members, implementing new methodologies, analysing data, generating insights and writing reports The incumbent will participate in the process of evaluating the research problem, identifying the appropriate research methods, designing the research tools, operational plan, overseeing the data-acquisition process, quality assurance, data analysis, visualization and insighting Writing policy reports and publishing policy papers is one of the key activities that the incumbent will be expected to do The position offers opportunities for coordinating with the clients directly on various project activities and ensuring that the organisation meets the clients expectations The incumbent must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team Educational Qualifications Masters degree in a relevant field (economics, geography, sociology, social work, political science, public policy, environment sciences, or related subject) Experience Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience is required in social & market research organizational/field program experience. Experience of managing qualitative & quantitative research projects is essential. Experience of monitoring and evaluation, documentation, case studies and report writing is preferred. Principal Responsibilities and Tasks Research, Monitoring and Evaluation Under the guidance of the project director, lead conceptual development and implementation of the projects related deliverables. Undertake data collection, analysis and synthesis of research findings on relevant issues. Produce project-related technical deliverables, including research briefs, power point presentations, white papers, indicators and frameworks. Project Management Work in close collaboration with field team, team members, supervisors and project director to define strategic direction and work plans for projects. Provide day-to-day management of project work plans, and ensure that project team, consultants and partners are on track with deadlines for deliverables. Manage routine communications with the team, consultants, and partners on the routine functioning of projects; and produces project reports and updates, as needed. Monitor and maintain the project budget in coordination with the project lead.
