Corporate Finance Manager – Bengaluru Job Summary: A fast-growing Biotechnology company in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Corporate Finance Manager to lead financial strategy, capital planning, investor engagement, and business analysis. This role is ideal for finance professionals with 6–10 years of experience in corporate finance, preferably in life sciences, healthcare, or manufacturing sectors. The candidate should be highly analytical, tech-savvy, and comfortable working in a cross-functional, research-driven environment. About Organization: Our client is a pioneering Biotech firm focused on innovation in diagnostics, therapeutics, and genomics. With ongoing collaborations with research institutions and global pharma partners, the company is on a rapid growth trajectory. They combine deep scientific research with commercial scalability and are now scaling their finance function to support strategic expansion. Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India Roles and Responsibilities: Strategic Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning. Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and commercial teams to align financial strategy with scientific and operational goals. Investor Relations & Fundraising: Support equity and grant funding activities including pitch decks, investor memos, and due diligence. Coordinate with venture capital firms, government funding agencies, and international partners. CapEx & R&D Finance: Manage capital expenditure planning for lab infrastructure, equipment, and technology. Monitor R&D spending efficiency, cost tracking, and budgeting for government grant compliance. Valuation & Project Finance: Conduct project-level ROI analysis, product pipeline valuation, and scenario modeling for strategic decisions and partnerships. Support licensing deals, JV structures, and M&A evaluations. Internal Controls & Compliance: Ensure adherence to accounting standards (Ind AS), internal controls, and audit readiness. Oversee documentation and compliance for regulatory grant funding and tax incentives (e.g., DSIR, SEZ benefits). Tools & Financial Systems: Advanced Excel and PowerPoint for modeling and board reporting. Financial planning tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Anaplan. Experience with ERPs like SAP, Oracle NetSuite, or Tally Prime is desirable. Role Requirements: Chartered Accountant (CA) and MBA Finance from a reputed institution. 6–10 years of experience in corporate finance, FP&A, or business finance, ideally in Biotech, Pharma, or Healthcare. Strong understanding of R&D finance, capital-intensive projects, and grant compliance. Proficient in financial modeling, valuation, and investor reporting. Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills. Exposure to IPO readiness or investor due diligence will be a plus.
