Job Description

JDs of Corporate QA 1. Monitor and direct the activities of the individual group companies. 2. Monitor QA resource, allocate/re-allocate resource as required, across-all-units. 3. Provide the necessary technical expertise to operational teams across-all- units in matters related to quality. 4. Evaluate supplier capability and participate in site verification along with VD. 5. Plan and implement kaizen events 6. Implement 5-S, across-all-units; involve in setting 5-S targets 7. Skill gap analysis of quality teams across-all-units 8. Implement training programs (planned and adhoc) to quality personnel) 9. Review the design verification data. 10. Monitor completed vs. pending design verifications with reason of delay where pending. 11. Analyze product CTQ's vis--vis inspection/performance report. 12. Analyze the product data at manufacturing and testing; brainstorm for improvement 13. Analyze field failures and product data and recommend changes to D&D. 14. Application of SPC tools where possible, in monitoring, measuring and controlling defects and defectives. 15. Take up process capability studies where possible with Cp-Cpk and Pp-Ppk analysis 16. Update process documents like Quality plans, Wls, etc 17. Conduct FMEA on the potential failure with impact, cause and effect: identify mitigation plan in relation to risk level 18. Conduct GR &R(Gauge Repeatability and Reproducibility) studies. 19. Review product and process quality non-compliances 20. Maintain status report of NCPRs, 8D-Reports. 21. Generate quality reports on CSFs/KRAs
