Job Description

Preparation of BOQ as per Technical Documents (SLD, Load list Etc.) Responsibilities: Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed cost estimates for various construction projects, including building construction, infrastructure projects, and civil engineering works. Analyze project plans, specifications, and drawings to determine material quantities and labor requirements. Obtain and evaluate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers. Develop and maintain cost databases and spreadsheets. Identify and quantify potential risks and uncertainties that could impact project costs. Project Control: Monitor project costs throughout the construction phase and track actual costs against the budget. Identify and analyze cost variances and implement corrective actions. Prepare cost reports and presentations for management and clients. Value Engineering: Identify and evaluate cost-effective alternatives for construction materials and methods. Participate in value engineering workshops to optimize project costs while maintaining quality and functionality. Contract Administration: Assist in the preparation of contracts and subcontracts. Review and analyze contractor proposals and claims. Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.
