Role Description Costing Executive with a background in e-commerce to join our Costing team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Costing, Management Information Systems (MIS), Variance Analysis, and Budgeting, with a deep understanding of the e-commerce sector's financial and operational aspects. This role will be critical in ensuring accurate cost analysis and supporting decision-making across the organization. Key Responsibilities: Conduct detailed costing analysis, including product costing, standard costing, and margin analysis. Prepare and maintain the MIS reports, offering insights into cost structures, budgets, and variances. Perform variance analysis to identify cost drivers, highlight key deviations, and provide recommendations for corrective actions. Assist in preparing, monitoring, and managing budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational financial goals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to track and optimize costs related to supply chain, logistics, and production. Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and auditing requirements. Provide insights into pricing strategies, cost-saving initiatives, and profitability improvements. Ensure compliance with financial policies, standards, and regulatory requirements. Stay updated on industry trends, particularly those affecting the e-commerce sectors cost structures and budgeting practices. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field. 2 - 3 years of experience in costing, MIS, variance analysis, and budgeting within an e-commerce company. Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a detail-oriented approach. Proficiency in advanced Excel skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset toward cost management. Understanding of e-commerce industry dynamics, including supply chain and logistics costs.
