Role & responsibilities Install, upgrade, patch, configure, and maintain OpenShift environments, including software implementations and upgrades. Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the OpenShift environment, Kubernetes to ensure smooth operation. Collaborate with development and operations teams to design, implement, and maintain OpenShift solutions. Manage and support containerized applications, including deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of the OpenShift/Container platform. Provide hands-on expertise with Docker, Kubernetes, cloud platforms, Grafana, and Splunk. Assist the application team in resolving issues with pods, such as crash loops, image pullbacks, and other errors. DevOps Tools: Proficiency with DevOps tools and concepts, including Jenkins, Groovy, Docker, and microservices. Cloud Experience: Experience working in a cloud-based environment, preferably Azure. Agile Environment: Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in an Agile environment. Database Knowledge: Proficient with MS SQL, Postgre and MySQL.
