The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing credit holds and releases by assessing customer accounts, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining excellent customer relationships. This role requires strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external customers. Key Responsibilities: Contact customers to ensure timely payments for order releases. Send monthly statements and follow up on outstanding balances. Resolve credit disputes, including skips, shorts, and credits. Monitor and manage account aging for assigned branches. Release orders in compliance with credit policies and document exceptions. Work towards improving the percentage of current payments to 85%. Process new customer credit applications and verify business/legal information. Maintain an accurate customer database and provide high-level customer service. Work four hours one Saturday per month for order releases (flexible schedule). Required Skills & Qualifications: Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills. Excellent credit decision-making abilities based on data. Strong observation skills to identify and act on inconsistencies. Ability to collaborate with branch personnel and set payment expectations. Strong communication and negotiation skills to maintain positive relationships. Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables required). Typing skills with high accuracy.
