Responding to customerinquiries : CSRs respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, orsocial media. They must provide accurate information and address any concernsor complaints the customer may have. 2. Resolving customer complaints : If a customer has a complaint, the CSRmust address it in a timely and professional manner. They must work to find aresolution that satisfies the customer and reflects positively on the company. 3. Processing orders : CSRs often process orders for customers. They maytake orders over the phone or online and must ensure that the order is accurateand processed promptly. 4. Maintaining customer records : CSRs are responsible for maintainingaccurate customer records, including contact information, order history, andany other relevant details. 5. Providing product or service information : CSRs are knowledgeableabout the companys products or services and can provide customers withinformation about them. They may also make recommendations based on thecustomers needs. 6. Upselling and cross-selling : CSRs may be responsible for upselling orcross-selling products or services to customers. This involves identifyingcustomer needs and suggesting additional products or services that may be ofinterest. 7. Handling billing and payment inquiries : CSRs may handle billing andpayment inquiries from customers. They must be knowledgeable about thecompanys billing policies and procedures and be able to answer questions andresolve any issues.
