Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL queries for Tableau data sources, ensuring efficient and accurate data delivery. Write and optimize complex queries for Oracle and BigQuery databases to support business reporting needs. Work with MongoDB , querying semi-structured data for analytics and reporting purposes. Collaborate with BI developers and analysts to enhance data processing efficiency and report accuracy. Develop, maintain and enhance existing ETL/ELT pipelines, ensuring data is ingested, transformed, and delivered efficiently. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements in data workflows Provide support for troubleshooting and resolving data issues as they arise. Participate in early development efforts related to Lakehouse architecture initiatives Assist in preparing existing data workflows for integration with modern cloud-based data platforms. Stay informed about emerging data technologies and contribute to modernization strategies. Perform thorough data validation and reconciliation to ensure consistency across different data sources. Identify and resolve discrepancies by working closely with data analysts and business stakeholders. Support data quality assurance processes, implementing best practices to improve reliability. To be successful in this role, you should have: Qualification: BE/BTech in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field from a top institute (like IIT, NIT, BITS, etc.). Experience: 5+ years of experience working with SQL and managing data pipelines. Tech skills: Advanced SQL skills for query performance tuning and optimization. Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and experience optimizing data transformations. Experience working with relational ( Oracle, BigQuery ) and NoSQL ( MongoDB ) databases. Experience with Python or scripting for automation Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, and Azure. Bonus points for hands-on experience with BI tools like Tableau! Soft skills: You should also have strong analytical problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks independently in a fast-paced environment.
