Job Description

This is an Oracle DBA role largely responsible for providing operational database services to the organizationSome of the primary responsibilities of this role would include Owning, tracking and resolving database related incidents and requests within SLAs. Reviewing service related reports (e.g. database backups, maintenance, monitoring) on a daily basis to ensure service related issues are identified and resolved within established SLAs. Has 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in database Administration and support in Oracle and atleast 5 yrs experience in handling RAC and Dataguard setups. Has 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in handling performance tunning. Has 2 years experience in handling golden gate. Responding to database related alerts and escalations on time and working to come up with strategic solutions to recurring problems. Establishing and maintaining communication with technology customers to keep them updated with status of their requests. Proactively escalating any issues that cannot be resolved within the established timeframes. Show more Show less
