Job Description

Role: Data Engineer Location: Remote (Work from Home) Employment Type: Full-Time Working Days: Up to 6 weekdays Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain high-performance, scalable RESTful APIs using FastAPI in Python. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement backend services for enterprise analytics applications. Design and optimize database schemas; write and execute complex SQL queries with expertise. Perform basic data analytics tasks, including working with libraries like Pandas and NumPy for exploratory data analysis. Integrate with and utilize Big Data technologies like PySpark to process large datasets. Ensure robust data pipelines and backend services in collaboration with analytics teams. Utilize and manage cloud services, with a preference for experience in Microsoft Azure. Required Skills and Experience Strong expertise in Python, with hands-on experience in backend development using FastAPI. Solid knowledge of RESTful API design principles. Proficiency in SQL, including complex query writing and optimization. Experience with Pandas, NumPy, and exploratory data analysis in Python. Familiarity with Big Data technologies such as PySpark. Understanding of cloud environments, preferably Azure. Preferred Qualifications Experience with distributed computing frameworks. Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
