If youre excited about joining this new team and making a significant impact in the digital space, we invite you to apply Job Description In your new role you will: Data pipelining: support centralized data projects in cross-functional coordination with IT and business counterparts (e.g. ,data scientists, domain experts, business owners) to harmonize and integrate data architectures and build data pipelines. Data product development: support design, build, deployment and maintenance of scalable and reliable data assets, pipelines and architectures in a DevOps environment as a foundation for analytics applications for our internal customers in, e.g., R&D, marketing, quality management, supply chain management and finance. Technical know-how: show-case technical excellence and innovation within your work especially in data engineering, software development and DataOps, while staying updated with the latest industry trends. Project management: support the development and implementation of digitalization use cases, by effectively managing your work package and assigned tasks so that they meet time and quality expectations. Stakeholder collaboration: act as main point of contact for your work package towards counterparts form business and other central departments, collect requirements and communicate project progress, challenges, and achievements to your project manager. Customer-centric innovation: identify opportunities for technical improvements and new technologies that enhance customer satisfaction, while proactively engaging in suggesting and implementing enhancements that directly address customer needs and add value. Your Profile You are best equipped for this task if you have: A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science , Engineering or a related field First relevant work experience in data science or data engineering including design, implementation and operational support. Basic understanding of concepts in the following areas: Data Architectures, Data Pipelines, Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, Data Quality, Data Security. Expertise in the latest toolsets and trends on data ingestion, storage, ETL, integration and modeling (e.g. Hadoop, Spark, Impala, Hive, Kafka, Openshift). Proficiency in Python, any additional knowledge of programming languages is a plus (e.g. Scala, Java, Rust), relational and distributed data storages
