Key Responsibilities ETL Development & Management : Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using SSIS to extract, transform, and load data from various sources. Ensure data integrity and performance of ETL pipelines. Database Management: Develop and manage databases using SQL, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability. Utilize SSMS for database administration and query optimization. Data Warehousing: Architect and manage data warehousing solutions to support reporting and analytics. Integrate on-premises data sources into a centralized data warehouse. Reporting & Visualization: Develop, deploy, and maintain reports using SSRS. Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using Power BI, ensuring data insights are accessible and actionable. Collaboration & Continuous Improvement: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective data solutions. Identify and implement opportunities to enhance data management practices and improve system performance. Documentation & Best Practices: Maintain comprehensive documentation of data processes, architectures, and system configurations. Adhere to best practices and industry standards in data engineering and governance. Required Skills & Qualifications: Technical Proficiency: Expertise in SQL and experience with relational databases. Proficient with Microsoft SQL Server tools: SSIS, SSMS, and SSRS. Experience with Power BI for data visualization and dashboard development. Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and on-premises data center environments. Hands-on experience in ETL design and development. Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills : Ability to analyze complex data sets, identify trends, and generate actionable insights. Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills. Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities. Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
