Job Description

Role & responsibilities Design and develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support business processes. Work with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to understand data requirements. Optimize data models for performance, scalability, and reliability. Define and enforce data standards, governance, and best practices. Create and maintain data dictionaries and documentation. Ensure data models align with enterprise architecture and business objectives. Collaborate with data warehouse and BI teams to support reporting and analytics. Perform data profiling and analysis to improve data quality and consistency. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's/Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in data modeling, database design, and data architecture. Proficiency in data modeling tools (e.g., Erwin, Power Designer, or similar). Strong knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (SQL, NoSQL). Experience with ETL processes and data integration. Understanding of data governance, metadata management, and data lineage. Ability to translate business needs into technical specifications. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Familiarity with Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark). Knowledge of data security and compliance standards (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.). Any other related certification is added advantage. Perks and benefits Competitive salary based on experience and skill level.
