Locations: Gurgaon, Pune, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Jaipur, Chennai, Bhopal Work Mode: Hybrid Key responsibilities: Create bespoke and automated analysis that empower the entire organisation to make the best decisions possible on marketing, product and content Build data products that measure and optimise acquisition efforts, fuel growth, drive conversion, increase engagement, improve retention, and maximise Customer Lifetime Value Confidently leverage a variety of machine learning techniques to build, test and roll out automated customer communications personalisation at scale that measurably increase the impact and efficiency of marketing efforts Ensure content creation, acquisition and scheduling decisions are data-driven by predicting appeal and popularity of content across markets and customer segments; calculate content similarity and create algorithmic genre classifications Own the algorithms and measure their performance; build up and maintain our library of ML solutions Work closely with the Data Management & Engineering team on ML automation and setting up ML pipelines in production Run A/B test experiments, perform causal analysis Work closely with the Data Management & Engineering team on ensuring data accuracy, and coordinate on processes to monitor and improve data quality Work on your own projects and initiatives, autonomously manage your timelines Partner with stakeholders, upskill them in data literacy and be an enthusiastic advocate of data-driven decision making Have an entrepreneurial mindset, take ownership and proactively seek and identify new opportunities where analytics could be applied to support growth and improvement Influence the evolution of our Advanced Analytics roadmap What youll bring: Experience working in an analytics or data science role Extensive experience in using SQL is essential Routine in handling and structuring large volumes of data Working knowledge of Python (preferable), or other statistical programming language (e.g., R, SAS) Experience of leveraging machine learning techniques that drive commercial results Good understanding of statistical concepts and extensive experience with advanced analytics and machine learning techniques (e.g., regression analysis, dimension reduction methods, k-NN, SVM, Decision Forests) Work experience in statistical experimentation and A/B testing Production grade scripting skill and data pipeline development experience is a plus Experience with BigQuery and Vertex AI on Google Cloud Platform is a plus Working experience in streaming or entertainment industries and with subscription services is highly preferred You can talk about your findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences You focus on achieving impact: you are as excited about improving customer experience and driving business growth as about script optimisations and model specifications You have a pragmatic, flexible attitude, you easily adapt to changes and can deal with ambiguity You can work autonomously on challenging projects with a great variety of problems to solve
