Job Profile: We are seeking a highly motivated Data Scientist with 3-7 years of experience in data analytics, machine learning (ML), AI, and Gen AI. The ideal candidate should be able to join immediately and have experience working on live data science projects, particularly in financial services. Key Responsibilities: Engage with clients to understand their requirements and develop data-driven solutions. The person will be working on live Client Data Science projects on-site or off-site. It could be descriptive, prescriptive and predictive analytics work & models. ¢ Develop and deploy machine learning models for business problems. Hence, Machine Learning (ML)/Data Science experience is a must ¢ Lead end-to-end data science projects with clients and/or internally, ensuring successful delivery and impact. ¢ Enhance existing products and contribute to new product development in financial services space. ¢ Developing business strategies around analytics outcomes. Collaborate with technology teams to build data analytics products. ¢ Contextualise/ customize G-Square's products at client sites with the help of client and our internal teams ¢ Support ongoing projects while taking initiative on new opportunities. Qualifications & Skills: ¢ Experience: 3-7 years, with at least 1-3 years in AI/Gen AI/ML/analytics-driven projects or product development (customer/sales channel analytics or credit/market risk analytics) Technical Skills: ¢ Advanced proficiency in Python and/or R (mandatory). ¢ Experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau) is an advantage. ¢ Strong understanding of machine learning models and statistical analysis. Preferred Background: ¢ BE/B.Tech in Computer Science, Statistics (preferred but not mandatory). ¢ Prior experience in financial services analytics (preferred). Soft Skills: ¢ Strong problem-solving ability. ¢ Excellent communication and client management skills. ¢ Ability to take ownership of projects and deliver independently.
