What you will do? As a Data Specialist you will be required to work on SQL based marketing database and will be executing upon requests received from Marketers for campaign targeting. You will be required to develop an understanding of how the client marketing database is structured and will be expected to translate the campaign targeting requests so that desired set of individuals are pulled from the database. The ideal candidate would be responsible for developing a sound understanding of the client databases and relationships between them. You would be required to identify any data anomaly and raise the same in the required forums. The candidate will also be responsible to participate on global calls and represent the data team. Role & responsibilities Responsible for Data preparation, Data analysis and execution of marketing requests that require data pulls from various data bases. Work with other staff members to satisfy agency clients database marketing needs Work closely with email marketing team to support on all data related aspects of campaign execution and suggest better process controls to ensure that the quality of data and campaign is not compromised. Flag any risks to the supervisor if needed or identified during operations. Comfortable working with multiple data sources including SQL Server, Access, flat data files, proprietary databases, fuzzy look ups web-based interfaces Sound understanding of the Marketing Concepts and terminologies like audience profile/ segmentation. Should be able to suggest required automation in the current process to be able to optimize the delivery time by creating stored procedures for redundant work. Willing to pursue a career in Online and Database Marketing Should be a Graduate with expertise in IT/Computers/Marketing domain Preferred candidate profile Quick learner and self-starter Prior experience in a similar domain is required Analytical bent of mind and logical reasoning Sound Working knowledge of SQL and Excel Complete comfort with MS Office suite Sound understanding of database marketing concepts Should be willing to pursue a career in marketing operations Should be flexible to work in shifts and weekends 5+ years of total work experience with at least 2+ in a similar role BCA/ MCA/ GNIIT or sound SQL language expertise Perks and benefits Insurance Benefits Holistic Wellness Programs Global Footprints Cab Facility
