We are looking for an experienced DataPower Lead to design, implementation, and maintenance of our IBM DataPower infrastructure. The DataPower Lead will work closely with various teams to ensure secure, reliable, and efficient integration across systems, applications, and data. This role involves both strategic planning and hands-on engineering to optimize system performance, security, and scalability. Responsibilities: Architecture Design: Design and architect DataPower solutions to support enterprise integration needs, including APIs, web services, security gateways, and B2B solutions. Implementation & Configuration: Implement and configure DataPower appliances and services, including Multi-Protocol Gateway, Web Services Proxy, XML Firewall, and API Gateway. Security & Compliance: Develop security policies and configurations, including SSL/TLS, SAML, OAuth, LDAP, and PKI for secure communication between systems. Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize DataPower performance, ensuring high availability and reliability across applications and services. Troubleshooting & Support: Troubleshoot complex integration issues and provide Tier 3 support for DataPower-related incidents and escalations. Documentation: Create and maintain architecture documentation, best practices, and standard operating procedures for the DataPower environment. Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to align integration and security requirements with business goals. Upgrades & Maintenance: Manage firmware upgrades, patching, and regular maintenance activities to ensure system stability and security compliance. Monitoring & Reporting: Set up monitoring tools and processes to track DataPower performance metrics and generate reports for stakeholders. Technical Skills: Expertise with IBM DataPower (Multi-Protocol Gateway, XML Gateway, Web Service Proxy). Strong understanding of security protocols such as SSL/TLS, OAuth, SAML, and LDAP. Knowledge of networking concepts, HTTP, XML, SOAP, REST, JSON, and WSDL. Familiarity with cloud platforms (CP4i) and API Management platforms is a plus. Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Ansible) is preferred. Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment. Certifications: IBM DataPower certification is preferred but not required. Preferred Skills: Experience in developing automation scripts for DataPower configurations and deployments. Familiarity with enterprise integration patterns and architecture principles. Understanding of security and compliance frameworks, such as PCI-DSS, GDPR, and Bank security standards.
