Job Description

The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring financial goals are met, delivering exceptional customer service, managing staff effectively, and driving sales growth through effective inventory and promotional strategies. Key Responsibilities: Achieve monthly sales targets and overall store performance objectives. Monitor and manage daily store operations, including finance, staff, ambience, customer experience, and product availability. Prepare and submit daily sales and staff performance reports. Ensure daily reconciliation of card transactions and cash handling, including timely cash pickups. Maintain and track store petty cash expenditures. Deliver high standards of customer service and handle client issues or complaints promptly and professionally. Manage staff scheduling, rostering, and leave approvals to ensure adequate staffing levels. Uphold store hygiene standards and oversee overall store upkeep. Plan and execute in-store promotions and marketing campaigns effectively. Oversee inventory control, including monitoring stock levels, identifying unsellable items, and minimizing shrinkage. Set and drive sales performance goals to boost store profitability. Recruit, train, and evaluate store employees to optimize team performance and productivity. Supervise stock management and ensure efficient store operations. Develop and implement cross-selling strategies and explore opportunities for outdoor business initiatives. Qualifications and Skills: Proven experience in retail or store management. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in basic financial operations and inventory management. Customer-focused with a problem-solving attitude. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
